Steak (Pop’s)

A well hung piece of Porterhouse (2 inches)

Salt, pepper steak well

Put on rack top with thinly sliced garlic in center and cover with a pat of butter

Place in broiler, temp 450 4 or 5 minutes on each side. Then half of remainder on each side (25 minutes altogether) at 350z

Gravy

Cut mushrooms (if necessary) and sauté

3 or 4 T grease left, put in a good heaping tsp flour

Stir and cook slightly

Salt, pepper, celery salt, paprika, Worcestershire sauce, tobasco, bouillon cube and water last
