Korean Short Ribs

I believe this was originally a recipe from the Korean family of Mom’s house painter in Virginia in the 1980’s. Mom made friends with everyone and we were all invited over for dinner since they actually lived in the neighborhood. The wife did not speak much English so I suspect the names on her recipe are both the Korean wife and a friend who translated. Of course we love Korean short ribs! They are delicious!
