Pat’s Exotic Greek Stew

Ingredients

3lbs lean beef or lamp

2 1/2 lbs small onions

1 T salt

1/3 C butter, melted

6oz can tomato paste

2T red wine

1 T brown sugar

1/8 tsp garlic powder

1 Bay leaf

1 cinnamon stick

1/2 tsp whole cloves

Instructions

  1. Cube meat
  2. Peel onions
  3. Place in casserole
  4. Sprinkle with salt
  5. Add butter
  6. Add remaining ingredients
  7. Cover and cook in oven at 250º for 5 hoursimg_4142
