Anyone know who Mr. Blackmer is?
Start this in the morning for supper.
5 lb roast (a good one), season liberally with lemon pepper
Preheat oven to 425º
Put roast in-cook for 35 minutes for rare, 40-45 minutes for medium. Add about 5 minutes per pound for each pound over 5 lbs.
Turn off heat – DO NOT OPEN DOOR until oven is cold.
For baked potatoes- Wrap in foil and put in oven 15-20 minutes before roast (while oven is preheating).
In the evening, warm in oven at 325º until warm
