Barbecues Spareribs

Ingredients

4 lbs spareribs

2 T butter

1 med onion, diced

2 T vinegar

4 T lemon juice

2 T brown sugar

1/8 tsp pepper

1 1/2 C ketchup

3 T Worcestershire sauce

1/2 T ground mustard

1 1/2 C water

1/2 C celery or 1 T celery salt

2 T fat

Instructions

  1. Brown ribs on medium high heat
  2. Transfer to baking pan
  3. Brown onions in fat
  4. Add remaining ingredients
  5. When hot, pour over ribs and baste
  6. Bake for 2 hrs at 350º
